SATSMARKT Relay
An independently operated public Nostr relay.
Why this relay exists
Nostr only stays open if ordinary people run their own infrastructure. This relay is not a company product. It is operated by one person, on one server, as a working part of a bigger idea: communication and commerce that nobody can switch off.
It is the home relay of SATSMARKT, a marketplace that runs entirely in the browser and stores its listings on public Nostr relays instead of a company database. The relay carries that data first, and general Nostr traffic alongside it.
What we stand for
- Your keys are your identity. No accounts, no registration, no email. You sign your events, we store and serve them. Nothing more is required and nothing more is asked.
- No surveillance. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no data resale. Connection logs exist only for operating the server and defending it against abuse.
- Neutral carriage. The relay does not curate opinions. Content is removed only when the law requires it or when it is plain spam or abuse that degrades the service for everyone else.
- Bitcoin-native. Value should move like information: peer to peer, without permission. The relay exists in that spirit and will always be payable in sats, never by card and identity.
- Built to last. Boring, proven software, conservative limits, and honest communication when something changes. A relay is infrastructure, and infrastructure should be dependable before it is exciting.

A word on sustainability
Running a public relay costs money and attention. Today access is free. To keep the service fast, spam-free and independent in the long run, paid access for writing may be introduced later — priced in sats, paid over Lightning, with no identity attached.
If that happens it will be announced here and on the relay's NIP-11 document well in advance. Reading will stay open.
How to use it
Add the relay address to the relay list of any Nostr client. In most clients this is found under Settings, then Network or Relays:
